We hired Anna as our doula for the birth of our second child Ben, who we knew would be born with a congenital heart defect.
Having originally been booked into the birth centre in Canberra, to needing to relocate to Sydney for Ben's birth, we felt we needed someone who could support us through the emotional process of the birth and help us to acheive as natural a birth as possible. Anna made herself available for every little question or concern that we had by phone, email and through her presence before, during and after the birth.
Having the reasurance of knowing we had Anna in Sydney who knew the hospital, it's procedures and policies, and who had our best interests at heart gave us incredible peace of mind and made a difficult time that much easier. It made what could have been a very stressful birth a joyous birth.
